BEACHWATCH 2013

Eco-warriors taking a well earned break from cleaning up our beautiful coastline!

On the 22nd of September, Alexander’s students and staff alike took part in our 5th annual Beachwatch. We were one of thirty different groups aiming to clean up the Suffolk coastline on behalf of the Marine Conservation Society, and we did a fantastic job by filling twelve black bags with rubbish in just over one mile. The students were amazed to find things such as drinks cans, glass bottles, pens and lots of pieces of plastic that had either been left on the beach or were washed ashore. Thank you to everyone who took part in helping to keep our beach clean!
