Over the wet weekend 18 students took part in their Qualifying Expedition. The Expedition took part in West Suffolk and meant the three groups were dropped off at Barking Tye, they had to walk to the campsite which was approximately 15 km away, set up camp, and then cook for themselves. In the morning the students then had to make breakfast, pack up and then head off to the pick up point which was another 15 km away. We had two Assessors from the Award meeting the groups throughout the weekend and I am very pleased to announce that all 18 students passes their Expedition part of the award. With only a presentation and some paperwork to overcome they will soon all be Bronze Award students.
