Sports Hall Athletics

Mr Istvan took four boys to the U13 Sports Hall Athletics competition held at Westbourne Sports College. The competition took place in one sports hall with 9 other schools. The athletes had to take part in running, throwing, jumping and relay races! The boys did really well and thoroughly enjoyed themselves! Mr Istvan was very impressed with their effort. Well done Ludmiro, Luzmiro, Danil and Maksym.

Boys Basketball vs Farlingaye High School

The Basketball team traveled the short distance to Woodbridge on Wednesday to play against Farlingaye High School. After an even first half unfortunately the team ran out of steam and couldn't quite match the experienced Farlingaye team. The final score was 42-18. Well done to all of those who represented the school.

Duke of Edinburgh Volunteering at Bawdsey Primary School.

The students started their Duke of Edinburgh Award Volunteering section with their first visit to Bawdsey Primary School. They are running a lunch time club where the school children have a choice of taking part in Dance, Football, Basketball or Maths. Our students were nervous to begin with but they soon started to have fun and it was great to see them interact with English speaking children. We have 12 weeks of volunteering ahead of us so I know both sets of students will get a lot out of this! As you can see from these photos they already have!
